Peggy Clifft Pattat, 70, of Bolivar, died Sunday evening, March 26, 2006 at her home.
The widow of Delbert Louis Pattat, Sr., who died December 16, 1977, she was a self-employed floral designer. Mrs. Pattat was born April 20, 1935 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Ermon L. and Carrie Long Clifft. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and she enjoyed helping people; her family said that she “went where there was needâ€.
Services were 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Charles Jeter and Fred Clifft officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Pattat of Houston, TX and Sheila Parks of Bolivar; three sons, Louis Pattat of Bolivar, Lloyd Jones of Rogers, AR and Clifft Sykes of Jackson; one sister, Dorothy Crump of Bolivar; five brothers, Muesel Clifft of Whiteville and Robert, Richard, Jerry and Fred Clifft, all of Bolivar; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Tammy Arlene Jones; two brothers, James and Jack Clifft and one sister, Frances Bomar.
