Peggy Barron

Peggy Barronwas born in Booneville, Mississippi on May 21, 1932 the daughter of the late William Henry and Lillian Barry Dillon.On January 8, 1951 she was united in marriage to Waldo Barron who survives.Mrs. Barron moved to Hardin County, Tennessee in 1954 and worked for the City of Savannah as a bookkeeper for 15 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was very active in helping others at church, the nursing home, and food shelters.Mrs. Barron departed this life on May 29, 2008 at her home at the age of 76 years, 8 days.In addition to her husband, she is survived by, one son, Dan Barron of Savannah, Tennessee; on e daughter, Terri Durham of Savannah, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Brent Barron, Holly Barron , Michael Jackson, Chris Jackson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Rudolph Dillon; a sister, Sue Doyle.
