Pearline Collins Cornelius

Services for Pearline Collins Cornelius, age 64, of Savannah, TN, will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 11 am at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Danny Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Collins Family Cemetery, Savannah, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.



She died at her home and was pronounced at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah, TN on Sunday, November 11, 2007 after a brief illness.



Mrs. Cornelius, a native of Wayne County, TN, was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and of the non-denominational faith. She was a daughter of the late Calvin and Beulah Kilburn Griggs, the wife of the late Billy Walker Collins, and a sister of the late Ronald Griggs and Marie Thompson.



Survivors, husband, Vernon Cornelius, Savannah, TN; sons: Billy (Mary) Collins, Waynesboro, TN, Bobby Gene (Brandy) Collins and Tommy Lee (Maylee) Collins, all of Savannah, TN; twelve grandchildren; brothers, George, Willie, Melvin, Harold, and Alvin Griggs all of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Dorothy Erby, Waynesboro, TN, Irene Daniel, Iron City, TN, several nieces and nephews.
