Pearl Boyd

Pearl Richardson Boyd of Benton, KY, formerly of Clifton, TN, was born August 8, 1910 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Luther and Ella Robertson Richardson. She was united in marriage to George Washington Boyd on November 26, 1927 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1996.Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker and member of the Revival Center in Clifton, Tennessee. Mrs. Boyd departed this life on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in Benton, Kentucky at the age of 98 Years, 25 Days. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by brother, Girley Richardson; sisters, Gertrude Halford, Ruby Chase, Irene Pitts, Bessie Haynes, Cora Taylor, Addie Mae Devers; and two infant brothers.She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Lineberry of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Janice Ward, David Lineberry, Belinda Lyles, Kathy Hack, Betty Lilly, Connie Simon; fifteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.Services will be Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10 am at Clifton Revival Center in Clifton, TN with Shayne Riley officiating. Burial will be in Clifton Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Greg Ward, Jason Ward, Quinton Lineberry, Dillard Chase, Hilton Chase, James Halford.
