Pauline Wood

Pauline Wood departed this life on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 22 days. She was born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi on May 25, 1939, the daughter of the late E.H. and Sara Leathie Rhodes Johnson. On September 10, 1955, she was united in marriage to Jimmy Aaron Wood, who preceded her in death on October 18, 2013.

Pauline had lived in Hardin County, Tennessee for most of her life and was in the restaurant business before she retired. She enjoyed ceramics, quilting, cooking for everyone, and going to Tunica.

She is survived by her children, Randy Gene Wood and wife Theresa, Tammy Wood aned special friend Jackie Davis, and Barbara Norris and special friend Mike Segars, all of Michie, Tennessee; grandchildren, Angie Gilliam, Derek Wood, Cory Norris, Johnathan Wood, and Jim Hammock; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Lovie Dean Davis of Michie, Tennessee and Margie Rickman and husband Blan of Corinth, Mississippi.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her sons, Paul Aaron Wood and Timothy Wayne Wood; grandchild, Jennifer Nicole Wood; and brother, Herman Gene Johnson.
