Pauline Franks

Morris Chapel, TN: Mary Pauline Ruth Franks, age 93, died November 4, 2008 at Chester County Healthcare.She was born and reared in Chester County, near Henderson, the Old Montezuma Road Community, the daughter of the late Jim Clayburn and Melinda Phillips Ruth. She worked on the family farm as a young lady. She was married to Floyd Franks of Morris Chapel in 1935 and they made their home in the Morris Chapel Community where they farmed. Mr. Franks preceded her in death. She continued to make her home at Morris Chapel and Henderson where she sat with and attended to those who were sick. She moved to Jacks Creek in 2001 to make her home with her brother Babe Ruth. She was a member of Morris Chapel Methodist Church.She is survived by one brother, Babe Herman Ruth of Jacks Creek; and a sister, Lois Ruth Willoughby of Henderson.She was preceded in death by a sister, Birtie Franks and three brothers, Con Ruth, O.B. Ruth and Elmer Ruth.
