PAUL RAYMOND KIIHNL
was born on October 1, 1924 in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, to the late Clarence W. and Amy Susie Hall Kiihnl. On June 2, 1948 he was united in marriage to Mabel Nix, who preceded him in death on June 13, 2012.
Before moving to Savannah, Tennessee, Mr. Kiihnl lived in Waynesboro, Tennessee for ten years. He was employed by Grinnell Corporation as an engineer for thirty years. He also owned his own fire sprinkler installation company and was an inspector and consultant for other companies, as well. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah, Tennessee and especially was interested in the Youth Group. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting; he also loved to read, especially the Bible. He repaired bicycles and then would give them to needy children.
Mr. Kiihnl departed this life on April 22, 2013 at the age of 88 years, 6 months and 21 days at the Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah, Tennessee.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Mabel Kiihnl and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alene Kiihnl; and brothers, Clarence Kiihnl, Jr., Irvin Kiihnl and Joseph Lee Kiihnl.
