Paul Preston Jones

Paul Preston Jones was born May 7, 1932 in Highland Park, Michigan the son of the late Steven and Ethelene Jackson Jones.He was united in marriage to Rosolene Bowling Jones on November 20, 1954.Mr. Jones was a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. He proudly served his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Jones was a lifetime member of VFW. He was also very active with the Eagles and Elks Clubs in Huntsville, Alabama prior to moving to Crump, Tennessee 12 years ago.Mr. Jones departed this life on July 22, 2007 in Crump, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 15 Days. He is survived by his wife, Rosolene Bowling Jones of Crump, Tennessee; a daughter, Jeannie Brooks and husband Glen of Spring Hill, Tennessee; a son, Paul Anthony Jones of Milledgeville, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Sheri Brooks; two grandsons, Preston Earl Brooks and Anthony Lee Brooks; Jerry and Bobbie Haney of Centerville, Ohio; uncle, David Yancey Jackson of Mobile, Alabama; niece, Leslie Booher of Dayton, Ohio; nephew, Paul Thomas Smallwood of Manchester, Kentucky and a cousin, Bunnie Bogenshultz of Hiawassee, Georgia.In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Jean Smallwood.
