Paul (Billy) Hardin was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 2, 1943 the son of the late Tom Hassell and Hattie Mae Ferrell Hardin.On January 30, 1964 he was united in marriage to Betty Lee Franks, who survives.Mr. Hardin was a lifelong Hardin Countian living the majority of his life in the Cerro Gordo community. He had worked for Angelica for 8 years as a cutter and for River Heights Lumber Co. as truck driver for 15 years. He was a great loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.Mr. Hardin departed this life on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the age of 68 years, 9 months, 7 days.In addition to his wife, Betty Lee Hardin, he is survived by a daughter, Pamela Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; a son, Tim Hardin of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Cherish Ingle and Haley Hardin; 2 brothers, Hassell Hardin of Savannah, Tennessee and Adley Hardin of Clifton, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Katherine Ray and Blanche Warren both of Memphis, Tennessee.
