PAUL E. DURBIN

was born in Jackson, Tennessee on December 27, 1929 the son of the late James Edward and Esther Austin Durbin.

On May 29, 1953 he was united in marriage to Margaret Marie Phillips, who preceded her husband in death on November 23, 2009.

Paul served his country proudly in the United States Army and was a tax accountant for Tax Matters. He was a member of Austin Chapel Church of Christ in Scotts Hill, Tennessee. In is spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Paul was the kind of person who never met a stranger.

He departed this life on August 21, 2019 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 25 days.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Vicki Bobbitt and her husband Stanley of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Debbie Durbin; sister, Betty (Nina) Ferguson; grandchildren, Chris Bobbitt, Keith Bobbitt, Whitney Chandler and Paula Durbin; great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Hadley, Holden, Evey, Cameron and Dalton.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Greg Durbin, one sister, Helen Avent and one brother, James E. Durbin, Jr.
