Paul Bridges

Paul Bridges departed this life on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, 28 days.Paul was born in Hardin County, Tennessee January 7, 1929, the son of the late Johnny William and Minnie V. Pearson Bridges. On February 16, 1974, he was united in marriage to Clara Walker, who survives.Paul was an accountant for Barker Implement. He had also worked for Billy Stanfill and Henco. He had lived in Savannah, Tennessee for 16 years and Crump, Tennessee for 38 years. Paul enjoyed playing dominoes, square dancing, fishing, camping, and enjoyed country music. He was a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Clara Bridges of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Connie Smith and husband Tony of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Angie Reed and Timothy Eric Smith; great grandchildren, Ashley Reed, Parker Smith, Katelyn Reed, and Katie Smith; sister, Mary Lou Hopper of Brentwood, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Wilma Wells and one brother, Vandell Bridges
