Patti Gayle Sandusky

Funeral services for Patti Gayle Sandusky, age 50, of Collinwood, TN will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, with Greg Eaton and David McKelvey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jamie Brewer, Robbie Lanier, Chris Caperton, Ricky Mathis, Shane Wallace, and Roy Holt. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 9 am until 1 pm at the funeral home.



She died at her home on Monday, February 18, 2008 after an illness with cancer.



Patti, a native of Gary, IN, was a secretary and a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Harlon Arlee Lanier.



Survivors, husband, Danny Sandusky, Collinwood; sons, Joseph Sledge, Jr. and wife, Kayla, Cypress Inn, TN, Kale Sandusky, Collinwood; daughters, Jessica Columbia and husband, Eddie, Cypress Inn, TN, Jennifer Bray and husband, John, Collinwood, TN, Yolanda Morgan and husband, Tim, Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Justin Haddock, Keithen Risner, Jenson and Danlee Bray, Thomas and Lauren Columbia; mother, Jackie Mahone Lanier, Florence, AL; brothers, Dale Lanier, Bobby Lanier and wife, Crazy Bonnie, Florence, AL; sister, Bonnie Jeffreys and husband, Howard, Greenhill, AL; sister-in-law, Judy Mathis and husband, Ricky, Florence, AL; several nieces and nephews.



Patti was the most loving and caring mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend you could ever find. She was loved by so many and her memory will live on forever. We love you and will always miss you.
