Patsy Ann Campbell

Mrs. Patsy Ann Powell Campbell departed this life on March 31, 2016 at Decatur County Manor Nursing Home in Parsons, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 31 days. She was born February 1, 1947 in Sardis, Tennessee, Hardin County. Patsy was the daughter of the late Eugene Powell and Lorene Meek Powell of Sardis, Tennessee.

Mrs. Campbell was a Cafe' owner for 35 years in the town of Scotts Hill, Tennessee. She retired August 23, 2003 due to health problems. The mayor of Scotts Hill issued a PROCLAMATION that August 23, 2003 will be PAT CAMPBELL DAY, in recognition of the untiring effort put forth by her to the community, and the support she gave to the community, her friends, and her family.

Patsy gave her life to Christ at an early age at Hinkle Baptist Church and served as the Pianist for many years. She loved to play and sing gospel songs with her sister and brother in many of the local Churches.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Johnson of Sardis, Tennessee; a granddaughter- Lorena Scott; a sister- Linda Barstow and husband Dave of Bellville, Michigan; a brother- Larry Powell and wife Ava of Sardis, Tennessee; and a special friend-Sammy Powers of Scotts Hill, Tennessee.
