Patricia Joyce Wong

Patricia Joyce Gallaher Wong of Nashville, TN was born May 26, 1933 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Chester and Sarah Elizabeth Smith Gallaher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wong was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wong; a brother, Durward E. Gallaher of Collinwood, TN; two sisters, Anola B. Mayberry of Waynesboro, TN and Norma Smith of Killen, AL; and a niece, Gail Gallaher Odle. She is survived by nephews, Phillip Mayberry, Stacey Mayberry, Gary Gallaher, and Myron Mayberry; nieces, Sarah Swensen, Gilda Gallaher Collie, and Mona Mayberry Kelsey. Patricia was a retired school teacher of Taft Union High School in Taft, CA where she taught Foods and Nutrition, among other subjects for many years.She was a member of Bellview Church of Christ in Nashville, TN.A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 1 pm at Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, TN, with Bobby Pinckley officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the charity of the senders choice.
