Patricia Weaver

Patricia Weaver, 72, of Selmer, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 5, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Somerville, TN.

She was born in Selmer, TN on Thursday, October 2, 1947 to the late Albert and Rumelle Parsons Willoughby and lived most all of her life in the Hornsby area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Stallings of Bolivar.

Ms. Weaver grew up on the family farm and was a 1965 graduate of Selmer High School. She also worked with her parents in the restaurant business. Among the restaurants she had worked in were the Circle Drive in Selmer, the Cafe Under The Hill and the Aviator, both in Bolivar. Later, she was primarily a homemaker, but also worked as a teacher's aid at Hornsby Elementary School. A member of the Hornsby Baptist Church, she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and following University of Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies basketball.

She leaves her daughter, Carol Ann Whitenton and her husband, David, of Somerville; two sisters, Linda Weaver of Middleton and Alba Glasscock of Bolivar; and two granddaughters, Kate and Emma Whitenton of Somerville.
