Patricia Gayle Holt Horton

Patricia Gayle Holt Horton of Collinwood, TN was born January 25, 1948 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Dalton Cecil and Savannah Evelyn Sherrill Holt. She was united in marriage to James Arlie Horton on February 25, 1967 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2019.

Mrs. Horton was a supervisor for 33 years at Angelica Corporation in Collinwood, TN and was a member of the Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee. She departed this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her home at the age of 74 Years, 5 Days.

She is survived by a son, James Michael Horton of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Cynthia Rana Horton of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Tyler, Colton, Tristian and Kassidy Horton and Brady and Breanne Horstmann; a brother, William Cecil Holt and wife, Carolyn and a sister, Betty Jean Ayers all of Collinwood, TN; several nieces and nephews and lifelong friends, Carol Sue Linville and Joy Sue Davis.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Holt and sisters, Dorothy Perry and Lavacy (Jamup) Heard.

Services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Earl Rich and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be from 11 am to service time on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the church.

Pallbearers will be Michae, Tyler, Colton, Tristian and Kassidy Horton and Brady Horstmann with Breanne Horstmann and Chuch Pusser as honorary pallbearers.
