Patricia Jane Fletcher Thompson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Jane Fletcher Thompson, age 49, of Collinwood, TN, who left us on December 17, 2024. Patricia was born on November 25, 1975 in Centreville, MI, to the late Tom Hines and Lydia Fletcher.

She shared a beautiful union with her husband, Johnathan Thompson, whom she married on October 17. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 30, 2009, leaving behind cherished memories filled with love and laughter.

Patricia dedicated over a decade to truck driving alongside her husband, a testament to her strong work ethic and adventurous spirit. Outside of work, she found joy in arts and crafts, and her love for horses was well-known. However, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her beloved children and grandchild.

Patricia’s light touched all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. She will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Cody Lee Thompson (Franziska) of Iron City, TN; daughter, Katlin Olivia Flowers (John Michael) of Humboldt, TN; grandchild, Phoenix Flowers; sister, Pauline Ann Messer (Jesse) of Battle Creek, MI; brothers, Ronald Fletcher of Prestonsburg, KY and Matthew Fletcher of Prestonsburg, KY; and mother-in-law, Brenda Faye Allen of Iron City, TN. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Hines and Lydia Fletcher; husband, Johnathan Thompson; grandparents, Raymond and Birdie Thompson; and other loved one’s.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Cody Thompson, John Flowers, Tristen Kennedy, Braxton Keefus, Caden Ghidotti, and Dillon Creecy.
