Pat Warren

was born August 22, 1917 in Hickman County, Tennessee the son of the late Harvel Thomas and Dora Williams Warren. Mr. Warren departed this life Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in Columbia at the age of 92 Years, 8 Months, 26 Days. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Polly McDonald Warren and brothers and sisters.
Mr. Warren, a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He served as County Election Commissioner for over 30 years and was well known for owning and operating Pat's Drive In. He was a member of many organizations including Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Masonic Lodge, and attended the Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Donald Gene Warren; a daughter, Patty Sharon Warren both of Waynesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Ashlie Haskin , Erin Warren, Jamin Warren; four great grandchildren, Brennen Whiteard, Olivia Haskin , Emily Haskin, Eli Haskin; a sister, Juanita Copeland of Waynesboro, TN;
Services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Steven Turnbow officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee
with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
