Pat Griffis
Was born on August 29, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy Miles and Mary Elizabeth Rogan Gleason.
On March 12, 1981 she was united in marriage to Donald Wade Griffis, who preceded her in death on December 13, 2005.
Mrs. Griffis was a retired Hardin County school bus driver and had lived in Morris Chapel, Tennessee for 15 years. She was also a member of the House of Mercy Church, the Walking Horse Owners Association and the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder and Exhibitors Association.
She departed this life on March 28, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 57 years, 6 months and 27 days.
Mrs. Griffis is survived by 3 sons: Jonathan William (John) Turner of Perryville, TN, Joseph William (Joe) Turner of Selmer, TN and Ed Patrick Hicks of Crump, TN;
2 daughters: Jennifer Lee Garner of Morris Chapel, TN and Jenean Lynn Hasher of Lexington, TN;
18 grandchildren: Justin Turner, Kayla Turner, Jonathan Turner, J.J. Turner, Misty Turner, Megan Turner, Cody Turner, Dalton Turner, Jenny Hicks, Jamie Lee Hicks, Cassidy Ferguson, Christy Ferguson, Christian Davis, Heather Gamer, Coleen Hicks, Felicia Hasher, Ethan Hasher and Natlie Hasher;
and one brother, James Gleason of Raleigh, North Carolina.
