Pantha Dee Bates

Pantha Dee Brewer Bates, Collinwood, TN was born November 4, 1961 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late John V. and Uzora Dicus Brewer. She was united in marriage to John Garry Bates on June 12, 2004.Mrs. Bates had worked at Collinwood Manufacturing and Little Sands. She departed this life, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 11 Months, 28 Days.Survivors, her husband, John Garry Bates, Collinwood, TN; step-son, John Nicholas Bates, Florence, AL; step-daughter, Leigh Anne Bates, Counce, TN; step-grandchildren, Jaden and Addison Grace; brothers, John (Pete) Brewer, Medina, TN, Mark Brewer, Collinwood, TN; sisters, Jennifer Stults, Dodie Dean, and Connie Dixon all of Collinwood, TN; and a host of special nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bates was preceded in death by brother, Charlie Brewer and sister, Penny Smith. Memorial services will be Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Collinwood United Methodist Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Josh Stults and Tommy Flood officiating with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given the the American Heart Association, Diabetes Association, or the charity of the donor\'s choice.
