Pamela Acuff, age 47, of Bolivar, departed this life Friday, January
4, 2013 at Bolivar General Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1965, in Jackson to Bobbie Ann Cummings
of Bolivar and the late John Melvin Cummings and lived most of
her life in Jackson, having spent the last 3 years in Bolivar. She had
attended South Side High School in Jackson. Ms. Acuff was a
member of Bemis Baptist Church and attended Shandy Baptist
Church in Bolivar.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Thursday evening at
Shandy Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her partner, Arthur Jollo,
II of Bolivar; three stepchildren, Adam Jollo of Brownsville, Jimmy
Ray Acuff of Jackson and Jessica Elder Cruz of Henderson; two
brothers and their wives, Rick Carpenter (Debra) of Cedar Grove and
Johnny Leroy Cummings (Debbie) of Mississippi; an uncle and his
wife, Bill Williams (Janet) of Jackson; two aunts, Jimmie Ruth Morris
of Bolivar and Carolyn Higgs; her stepfather, Jerry Overton of
Bolivar; her in laws, Arthur and Mary Jollo of Portland, OR; and 7
step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
