Owen Conway Turner

Owen Conway Turnerwas born in Cerro Gordo, Tennessee on February 25, 1927 the son of the late John Sinclair and Arty Caroline Bowen Turner.Mr. Turner had worked in power storage for TVA and on the tug boat. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.Mr. Turner departed this life on Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 at the age of 81 years, 7 months, 6 days.Mr. Turner is survived by a daughter: Heather Turner White of Foley, Missouri; a son: Brian Conway Turner of Savannah, Tennessee; a stepdaughter: Linda Mae White of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 stepsons: Anthony Lynn White and Jeffrey Dewayne White both of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 sisters: Betty Knight of Clarksville, Tennessee, Marie Ramsey of Marion, Arkansas, and Elsie Patterson of Henderson, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren: Cameron Gage White and Shayler Mae White; 5 step-grandchildren: Corey Ray Benson, Dustin Harold Benson, Nathan White, Christa Robertson, and Liam Black; 2 great-grandchildren: Kennin Reed Benson and Kailyn Rae Benson.In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his 1st wife Nelda Joyce Wood Turner in 1970, his 2nd wife, Ollie Austin Turner in 1985, and several brothers and sisters.
