Ovan Price Robbins

Services for Ovan Price Robbins, age 81, of Waynesboro, TN, will be Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, with Jim Kayler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jason, Jody, and Bruce Roberson, Rusty Pate, Paul Howard Crowell, and Elmer Richardson. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.



He died Friday, November 16, 2007at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN after an extended illness.



Mr. Robbins, a native of Jasper, TN, was a retired electrican with TVA and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Carrie Jones Robbins and sisters, Hazel Odell Staggs and Peggy Jo Lineberry.



Survivors, wife, Eleanor Roberson Robbins, Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Becky Tatum and husband, Tony, Waynesboro, TN, Jackie Robbins, Huntsville, AL; grandson, Trent Tatum, Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.
