Services for Ottis Jude Hayes, 67, Iron City, TN, will be Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN, with Sonny Bogus officiating. Burial will be in Balentine Cemetery, Lutts, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home. He died Sunday, December 24, 2006 in Wayne County, TN.
Mr. Hayes, a native of Lauderdale County, AL, did automobile body work and was of the Church of Christ belief. He was a son of the late Richard and Delsie Murphy Hayes and a brother of the late Dalton Hayes, Hardy Hayes, Jewel Slay, and Sue Wright.
Survivors, wife, Wanda Bevis Hayes, Iron City, TN, son, Michael Dewayne Hayes, Lutts, TN, daughter, Lisa Gay Gray and husband, Glenn, Iron City, TN, grandchildren, Daniel Steven Brison, London Teal Brison, Shelby Michaela Hayes, sisters, Earline Coxwell, Audrey Cziryak, Ann Hipps, all of Ohio, nieces and nephews.
