Mr. Otis B. Taylor was born June 19, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Felix and Sarah Prince Taylor.
He was united in marriage to Opal Kirk on January 5, 1952 in Corinth MS.
Mr. Taylor was a staff sergeant in the Army and served his country during WWII, traveled to Utah and other states with the Civil Conservation Camp, was a retired hydraulic/automotive mechanic, member of the United Auto Workers, and attended the Selmer Church of God.
Mr. Taylor fought a long and courageous battle with alzheimers. He departed this life on August 19, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 2 months.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Opal Taylor of Selmer; two daughters Judy and husband Richard Lacefield of Selmer, Jackie and husband Sammie Lott of Adamsville; two sisters Mildred Rodgers of Humbolt, Dorothy Howard of Astoria IL; one brother Milford Taylor of St. Louis MO.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Sarah Prince Taylor; nine brothers and sisters.
