Orben Leonard Byrom

Orben Leonard Byrom was born April 4, 1917 in Madison County, Alabama the son of the late William Malcom Byrom and Ider Jane Hannah Towery.He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Vickers. Mrs. Byrom preceded him in death on November 20, 1993.Mr. Byrom retired from General Motors and worked at the VA in Huntsville, AL.He departed this life on May 1, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 27 Days.He is survived by, two nieces, Sadie Harbin of Selmer, TN and Margie Moon of Huntsville, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Byrom was preceded in death by two sisters, Daisy Hymer and Oma Brown; five brothers, Olie, Malias, R. T. , Roy , and J. D. Byrom.
