OPAL A. HALL
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 20, 1917 the daughter of the late John P. and Minnie Handley Alexander.
On August 15, 1941 she was united in marriage to Anderson Hall, who preceded his wife in death on March 9, 1996.
Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and part owner of Alexander Hall Food Store. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ, Savannah Junior Auxiliary, Savannah Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary and the PTO where she was Secretary and Treasurer.
She departed this life on December 8, 2005 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 18 days.
Mrs. Hall is survived by one daughter, Carole Hall Coats and one son, Dennis Hall, both of Savannah.
4 grandchildren, Jennifer Coats Collier, Angie Hurst, Lindsay Hall and Molly Hall, all of Savannah.
4 great-grandchildren, Katie Carole Collier, Ross Collier, Kayli Hurst and Olivia Hurst, all of Savannah.
One sister, Vera Gardner of Savannah.
One brother, Jerry Alexander of Savannah.
Other than her parents and husband, Mrs. Hall was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Kevin Allen Coats, one sister, Edith Castelli and 3 brothers, J. P., Wilbur and Max Alexander.
