Opal Cleota Dickey

Opal Cleota Dickey was born January 15, 1918 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Omer and Cleo Sanders Hopkins.She was united in marriage to Broise Dickey who preceded her in death on December 1, 1980.Mrs. Dickey was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Pleasant Site Baptist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee.Mrs. Dickey departed this life on February 4, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 20 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Ann McLain of Selmer, Tennessee, Ginger Lee of Bay, Arkansas; 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dickey was preceded in death by four sisters, Geneva Harris, Mabel Hathcock, Mollie Smith, Eura Mae Robbins;and two brothers, Oscar Hopkins and Lewis Hopkins.
