Oma Webb Marshall, 97, of Hornbsy, died Monday morning, May 22, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of William “Jack†Marshall, who died August 19, 2002 after 67 years of marriage, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Marshall was born March 1, 1909 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Omar and Sarah Jane Ragon Webb and lived here all of her life. She taught Sunday School at Hornsby Baptist Church for more than 54 years.
Graveside services were 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Wyatt Cemetery near Hornsby with Billy Joe Sanders officiating. John Hardin, Scotty Plunk, Mike Vandiver, John Worley, Troy Sipes, Tommy Hindman, Jerry Moore and Phillip Hodge served as casket bearers.
She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Vidal Caicedo; two grandchildren, Billy Caicedo and his wife, Dawn, and Denecia Caicedo and two great grandchildren, Megan and Billy Caicedo, all of Hornsby; one sister, Thelma Pike of Memphis and one niece, Mary Jane Stewart of Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Guyula Foster and Daisy Siebert and two brothers, Willie and Robert Daniel Webb.
