Services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with David Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens ,Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Military rites at gravesite.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11, 6:00--8:00 pm and on Sunday, February 12, 12:00 noon until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro.
Pallbeaers: Myron Kelley; Shane Kelley; Marty Kelley; Jamey Turner; Josh Nance and Matthew Eaves.
Honorary: David Woods.
Mr. Nance departed this life on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 10 Months, 8 Days. He was born April 2, 1921 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Robert and Lemer Evans Nance. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his wife; Wanda Sue Wilson Nance on September 23, 2009.
Mr. Nance was retired from Genesco and served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by son, Dennis Nance of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren; Donna Eaves; Joshua Nance and Gabrielle Holcombe; great grandchildren; Matthew ; Colby and Delana Eaves; Makayla and Hunter Nance and Skylie Holcombe.
