O.M. Wilbanks

Private, family only, memorial services will be held at a future date for Mr. O. M. Wilbanks, age 79, of Ramer, TN. Mr. Wilbanks departed this life on Tuesday morning, January 31, 2023, at his home.
A native of Pocahontas, TN, he lived most of his life there before moving to Ramer 23 years ago. He was a retired lead man at Harmon Automotive where he worked for 34 years. Afterwards, for eight years, he operated Wilbanks Repair where he provided painting services for Harmon. He was an avid rabbit hunter, in his leisure time.
Mr. Wilbanks was united in marriage on July 15, 1967, to the former Patricia Bartholomew and had been married 55 years at the time of his passing. A member of the Essary Springs Baptist Church, he had served the congregation as song leader for several years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Ronnie (Cindy) Wilbanks of Ramer; a daughter Mary (Tim) Derryberry, also of Ramer; a brother, Leck (Kay) Wilbanks of Counce, TN; four grandchildren, Nikki (Tommy) Sheets of Stantonville, Peyton Burrow and Brandy Wilbanks, both of Ramer and, Lindsay Wilbanks of Stantonville; and seven great-grandchildren, Brayden and Ridge Sheets, Bentley Wilbanks, Eli Brown, Nolan Wilbanks, Mylo and Lyla Matlock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John DeWitt and Myrtle Mae Rolison Wilbanks; and a brother, John H. Wilbanks.
