Novella Pierce

Novella Moore Pierce, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Richard and Anne Clark's home. She was born in Montezuma the daughter of the late Charles A. and Dollie Mayo Moore. She attended Phillips School. She married Gilbert Pierce on July 4, 1944. She was a member of First Baptist Church, caring for the children for many years. She worked for Salant and Salant for many years. She took great pleasure in cooking, canning, sewing, and great pride in her home and caring for her family. She is the mother of Anne Pierce Clark (Richard), Grandmother of Sarah Anne Lutterloh (Charles), Great Grandmother of Kimberly Anne Lutterloh and Charles Lutterloh, Jr. In addition to her parents and husband of 64 years she was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence Moore, Johnny Felts, Elbert Moore and Charles Moore and three sisters, Erma Hornsby, Elsie Woodward and Esta Lee Lowe.
