NORRIS CALVIN (DOC) MEEK
Was born in Shiloh, Tennessee on February 23, 1924 the son of the late Willie Franklin and Ollie Mae Britton Meek.
On February 20, 1965 he was united in marriage to the former Eunice Atkins, who survives.
Mr. Meek was a farmer. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Meek was in Patton’s Third Army Company C 48th Armored Infantry. He received American Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Victory Medal and EAME Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Stars. Mr. Meek was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ.
He departed this life on February 5, 2007 in Shiloh, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 13 days.
Other than his wife, Eunice of Shiloh, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Tonya Rose Meek of Stantonville, Tennessee.
One son, Michael Norris Meek of Nashville, Tennessee.
One grandchild, Olivia Rose Meek.
One brother, Noel W. Meek, Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Meek was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Alice Freeman.
