Norma Sue Munn

November 30, 1918 — May 11, 2013

Mrs. Munn passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Country Cottage Assisted Living in Corinth, Mississippi.



A native of Hardeman County, she was the daughter of the late Horace Earl Maxwell and "Matt" Smalley Maxwell. She was a resident of the Middleton area for most of her life before she moved to Corinth in the Fall of 2012. On November 30, 1939 (her 21st birthday), she married Mr. Ermin Wayne Munn. Mr. Munn passed away August 23, 1984. Mrs. Munn worked from 1958 to 1983 at WMHI in Bolivar, finishing her career in their accounting department. She was a long time member of the New Hope Church of Christ and, at one time, attended the Middleton Church of Christ.



She leaves three daughters, Bettye Cunningham and her husband, Pat, of Fenton, MI, Sheila Smith and her husband, Tom, also of Fenton, MI and Lisa Davis and her husband, Milton, of Middleton; her sister-in-law, Rubye Maxwell of Memphis; 6 grandchildren, Pat O. and Kelly Cunningham, Lori Zielinski, Christy Glass, Tony and Andy Davis; 8 great-grandchildren, Stephanie Cunningham, Lindsae, Zach and Jake Zielinski, Sidney, Ally, Aidan and Cooper Davis; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Alaina and Alivia Sue Cunningham; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.



In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorene Reid; and two brothers, Cecil and Aiden Maxwell.
