Norma Jean Carter

NORMA JEAN CARTER

was born in Walnut, Mississippi on July 6, 1942 the daughter of the late Jim and Hattie Vinson Garrett.

On December 30, 1961 she was united in marriage to Jerry Neal Carter, who preceded his wife in death on May 5, 2015.

Mrs. Carter was a retired Loan Officer from CNI Bank. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Carter departed this life on February 12, 2016 in Humboldt, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 6 days.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Y. Sheffield and her husband Tim of Arlington, Tennessee.

one grandson, Hunter Sheffield of Arlington, Tennessee

and one sister, Betty Wilson of Corinth, Mississippi

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Garrett.
