NORA EDNA GEAN CROMWELL
Was born in Savannah, Tennessee on May 11, 1918 the daughter of the late Jim William and Josie Hollins Gean.
On February 15, 1942 she was united in marriage to Glenn Cromwell, who preceded his wife in death on December 29, 1996.
Mrs. Cromwell was a homemaker and a member of Savannah Church of Christ. She loved taking care and cooking for her family and Glenn. Mrs. Cromwell also loved working in church, growing flowers, playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with her brothers and sisters and their families.
She departed this life on May 24, 2006 at Savannah Healthcare at the age of 88 years and 13 days.
Mrs. Cromwell is survived by one daughter, Shirley Chamblee and her husband Jim of Savannah, Tennessee.
One son, Ronald Cromwell and his wife Sherry of Savannah, Tennessee.
4 grandchildren, Dean A Cromwell, Shannon G. Zondervan, James Wesley (Wes) Chamblee and Michael Blake Chamblee
4 great-grandchildren, Emma Zondervan, Anna Zondervan, Chloe Cromwell and Jack Zondervan.
One brother, Gilbert Gean of Savannah, Tennessee.
4 sisters, Lucille Cromwell of Savannah, Tennessee, Lena Austin of Memphis, Tennessee, Marie Irvin of Savannah, Tennessee and Margaret Paulk of Corinth, Mississippi.
Other than her parents and husband, Mrs. Cromwell was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Owen Gean and William Gean and 2 sisters, Carrie Cromwell and Matheline Carr.
