NOAH (BLONDIE) HOLLOWAY
was born in Waterloo, Alabama on December 23, 1932 the son of the late William Anderson and Gertie Odell Dean Holloway.
On December 12, 1950 he was united in marriage to Hazel Marie Bevis, who survives.
Blondie, as everyone knew him as, and his wife Hazel owned and operated Savannah Machine Shop since 1967 until his retirement. He loved people and counted all his customers as friends. Blondie spoke often that he loved everyone and did not have an enemy that he ever knew of. He treated everyone with kindness and respect. Blondie was a member of New Life Untied Pentecostal Church.
He departed this life on October 1, 2016 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 8 days.
In addition to his wife Hazel of 65 years, he is survived by his son, Keith Dewayne Holloway and his wife, Rebecca of Savannah, Tennessee
daughter in law, Pam Curtis Holloway of Savannah, Tennessee.
9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
four sisters, Lois Smith and Mary Esther Witt, both of Waterloo, Alabama, Martha Ann Balentine of Indiana and Eva Gean Adams of Florence, Alabama
one brother, Phillip Galen Holloway of Tuscumbia, Alabama
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Don Holloway, one grandchild, Gillian Nicole Holloway, three sisters, Rebecca Holloway, Ruth Holloway Balentine, and Faye Holloway Woods; and four brothers, Paul Holloway, Sr., Daniel Thomas Holloway, James Anderson Holloway, and David Lee Holloway.
