Services for Noah E Ayers, age 73 of Lutts, TN will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church near Cypress Inn with Greg Eaton and Marvin Morrow officiating. Interment following in Piney Grove Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.A native of Wayne County, he was born May 6, 1936 a son of the late Claude and Goldie Holt Ayers. Mr. Ayers departed this life Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Wayne Medical Center at the age of 73 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by son, Thomas Claude Ayers; grandchild, Trisha Olive; three brothers, J. M. Ayers, Arlie Ayers, and George Ayers. Mr. Ayers was a farmer, lumber worker, and of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mattie Melson Ayers; son, Danny Ayers; five daughters, Pearl Ayers, Robbie Copeland, Dorothy Olive, Nora Sue Copeland all of Lutts; and Wanda Templeton of Collinwood;15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren;two sisters, Mary Ethel Sherrill of Cypress Inn and Margaret Johnson of Lutts, TN;
