Nora “Pat†Miller, 74, of Bolivar, died Monday, January 9, 2006 at her home.
The widow of John R. “Jack†Miller, who died January 6, 2000, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Miller was born July 27, 1931 in Kennebunkport, Maine, daughter of the late William Francis Brennan and Grace Leach Brennan and had made her home in Bolivar since 1959. A member of the Hardeman County Country Club, she was an avid golfer. Mrs. Miller was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Services were 11 AM Thursday, January 12, 2005 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Carl Hood officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Miller of Bolivar; four sisters, Mary Frances Hanson, Jane McGuire, and Wilma Norman, all of Maine and Mildred Healey of Oregon; and four brothers, Robert, Thomas, Kenneth and Michael Brennan, all of Maine. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Katherine, Evelyn and June and one brother, Jerry Brennan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 11, 2006 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm with a rosary for church members only from 6:00 to 6:30 pm.
