Services for Nina Pearl Johns Mathis, 70, Waynesboro, TN, will be Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 1 pm at Waynesboro Church of Christ with Jeff Smith and Matthew Morine officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from 8 am until 12:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro. She died at ECM Hospital, Florence, on Sunday, April 15, 2007 after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Mathis, a native of Lewis County, TN, was retired from Genesco/Texas Boot and was a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ and will be remembered by many for her cake decorating. She was a granddaughter of the late Henry and Paralee Johns, a daughter of the late Flora Johns Brown, the wife of the late Edwin Douglas (Dick) Mathis, and a sister of the late James Walter
