Nina Louise Holloway, 77, of Pocahontas, died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of C. L. Holloway, who died February 28, 2000 after 56 years of marriage, she was a homemaker. She was born December 1, 1927 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Henry Howard Garrett and Mary Alice Cummings Garrett and lived in Pocahontas most of her life. Mrs. Holloway loved to read.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Middleton chapel with James Howell officiating. Burial was in Essary Springs Cemetery near Pocahontas.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Owens of Jackson, Ann Odom of The Woodlands, Tex. and Sandra Joyner of Corinth; one son, Ricky L. Holloway of Pocahontas; three sisters, Ellen Carter of Middleton, Joyce Wilbanks of Pocahontas and Mary Brown of Toone; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
