Services for Nina Rich Brewer, age 74, of Florence is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood with Chad Balentine, Greg Eaton, and Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
A native of Wayne County, she was born October 24, 1937 a daughter of the late Harrison and Pearl Gillis Rich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Orbie, Joel, and Arvil Rich; three sisters, Gladys Balentine, Nona Sandusky, and Christine Patterson. Nina died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at her home in Florence. She was retired from Rudys Farm and was a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two brothers, T. F. Rich of Killen, AL and Carl Rich of Iron City, TN; a sister, Alta Scott of Waynesboro, TN; Godson Scotty Wesson;
many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend Libby Stooksberry.
The family would like to thank Tennessee Valley Hospice including Meredith, Mary, Dana, Dianne, Jeff, and Teresa, also Dr. Patel and Dr. Daughtry, nurse Kellie, and The Cancer Center for their caring service.
