Nettie Wade Pulse

Mrs. Nettie Wade Pulse of Chester, New Jersey, formerly of Middleton, departed this life at the age of 95 years, 8 months and 29 days Sunday, May 5, 2013 in New Jersey.



Mrs. Pulse was borne August 6, 1917 in Faulkner, Mississippi to the late John Marion and Kathryn Viola Byrd Harrell and graduated from high school in Walnut, Mississippi. She was united in marriage to Mr. Alex W. Pulse May 13, 1939 and the two were married for 56 years before Mr. Pulse's death October 1, 1995. She was a member of the Middleton Woman's Club for many years and taught Sunday School for over 30 years at the Middleton United Methodist Church. She was active in all church and community activities during her years in Middleton and was a role model to all who knew her.



In 2006, she moved to Chester, New Jersey to live with her daughter, Kathryn Pulse Keimel, and her son-in-law, Tim Keimel. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Alex Keimel of Chester, New Jersey, Crystal Picado of Budd Lake, New Jersey, Ted Keimel of Chester, New Jersey, Shelby Keimel of Chester, New Jersey, and Brandy Keimel of Montague, New Jersey; her great-grandson, John Picado of Budd Lake, New Jersey; her sister, Joanne Faulkenberry of Euporia, Mississippi; and a multitude of nephews, great-nephews, nieces and great nieces.



She is preceded in death by a grandson, John Nathan Yopp; five sisters, Lavern Harrell Seawright, Aldia Harrell Dollar, Johnnye Harrell Donnelly, Georgia Harrell Aston and Bama Harrell Hopkins; and a brother, Jewel Harrell.



She was a woman of strong faith and love of family. She touched many lives along the way and her memory will always be cherished.
