Services for Nettie Mable Davis Pulley, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN formerly of Waynesboro will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Robert Pulley and Joel Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are John Pulley, Thomas Pulley, Jason Martin, Samuel Smith, James Lynch, Jr., and John Hardy Lynch; hononary pallbearers are Mike Sundeen, John Edward Davis, and Andrew Franks.
Mrs. Pulley, a native of Wayne County, was born November 28, 1929, a daughter of the late John Henry and Nettie Pearl Brewer Davis. In addition to her parents, Mrs Pulley was preceded in death by three brothers, J.C. Davis, Taft Davis, and Samuel Davis; four sisters, Rosa Lynch, Delia Woods, Louise Kilburn, and Ruby Smith. Mrs. Pulley died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at her home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 3 Months, 9 Days. She was a homemaker and a member of Green River Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband William D. (Billy) Pulley of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sons, Robert Pulley and wife Carolyn of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lewis Pulley and wife Barbara of Parsons, TN, Lamar Pulley and wife Sheree of Bossier City, LA; two daughters, Laquita Nelson and husband George of Ethridge, Tn, Lora Jane Franks and husband Thomas of Leoma, TN;
9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren;
several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
