Nellie Faye Arnold

was born in Hayti, Missouri on March 9, 1938 the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Naomi Welch Laster.

She was united in marriage to Frank Edmund Arnold, who preceded his wife in death on August 1, 2019.

Nellie was the owner of Arnold's Shoe Store in Savannah. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. In her spare time she loved gardening and spending time with her dog, S.G.

She departed this life on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 19 days.

Nellie is survived by her children, Greg Arnold and his wife Teresa, Kim Godwin, and Kristie Mathis; grandchildren, Alicia Shaw, Mallory Davis, Alex Godwin, Matt Mathis, Morgan Mathis, and Nick Godwin; sisters, Linda Windham and Teresa Newman; and brother, Ricky Laster.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Frank Anthony Arnold, three brothers, James, Bo, and Terry Laster, and two sisters, Shelby Mitchell and Brenda Jerrolds.
