Nedd Oldaker

Nedd Paul Oldaker was born on December 3, 1954, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Paul Rosser and Mable Helen Fry Oldaker. 

On November 22, 1982, he was united in marriage to Dianne Kay Henley, who survives. 

Nedd honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and the National Guard. He retired from the Hardin County Sherriff Department, where he worked as a Sergeant. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In his spare time, he enjoyed going hunting with his sons-in-law and grandchildren. Nedd took great pleasure in spending time outdoors, and thought of it as his sanctuary. He loved his family, country, animals, and "Old Glory". 

Nedd Paul Oldaker departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the age of 69 years, 9 months, and 17 days. 

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Oldaker; children, Audra Barksdale and her husband Jeff, and Alison Oldaker and her husband Jerry Rogers; grandchildren, Andrew Barksdale, Natalie Barksdale, and Alex Layne; brother, Shane Johnson; special nephew, Andrew Johnson; and special friend, Jeremy Ashe. 

In addition to his parents, Nedd was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Oldaker, and grandparents, Nedd Fry and Marie Fry.
