Nannie Mae Hill

Nannie Mae Hill, 88, of Henderson, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.



The widow of William Franklin Hill, who died August 5, 1972, she worked in assembly at Kilgore for 22 years in addition to farming. Mrs. Hill was born July 23, 1918 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Walter and Nannie Mae Young and lived here all of her life. She loved gardening, flowers, animals and her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Hill was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church near Toone.



Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Ann Dorris of Toone; three sons, Charles Franklin Hill of Toone, Terry Milton Hill of Bolivar and Gary Wayne Hill of Jackson; twelve grandchildren, David, Cindy, Julie, Andrew, Charlene, Tony, Joe, Lynn, Carrie, Melinda, Penny, Jeannie and sixteen great grandchildren, Michael, LaTosha, Tiffany, Brian, Keith, Davina, David, Julie, Kaycie, Bret, Nicholas, Steven, Nathan, Peyton, Ryan and Madison Lynn.
