Nancy Yvonne Rambo

Nancy Yvonne Rambo, 70, of Cedar Park, TX, formerly of Silerton, TN, departed this life on Friday, November 29, 2024, at her home.

She was born in Joliet, IL on Tuesday, April 13, 1954 to the late Oliver S. Peek and Betty Jean Ray Peek Croft.  She moved to Grand Valley Lakes, in Hardeman County, in 1992 and moved to Texas in 2019.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Rambo on June 26, 2018 (they married October 18, 1996) and, her step-father, Edward C. Croft.

Mrs. Rambo had worked as office manager for Master Slack and was owner of Rambo Trucking until 2013.  She was a member of Shandy Baptist Church and enjoyed being an ambassador for Highland Estates, the retirement community where she resided.

She is survived by her son, James 'Toby' Shields and his wife, Rachel, of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Madison Shields; and brother, David Peek and his wife, Fran, of Albany, GA.
