Nancy Caperton Hodge
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on April, 24, 1953 the daughter of the late Harold B. and Johnnie Tidwell Caperton.
On January 2, 1976 she was united in marriage to Phillip Barry Hodge, who preceded his wife in death on January 4, 2013.
Nancy worked for over 35 years at Garan Manufacturing until they closed their doors. She was a lifelong resident of Adamsville, Tennessee and a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church. Nancy loved being around people, laughing, and sitting outside and watching traffic. She especially loved her family and spending as much time as she could with them.
Nancy departed this life on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 14 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Hodge Morris (Mason Sanders) of Savannah, Tennessee; granddaughter, Harley Catherine Morris of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Sue Caperton Kennedy and her husband Billy Joe of Savannah, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Terry Collins of Chesterfield, Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Artie Tidwell, and Noah and Fannie Caperton and sister, Beverly Caperton Collins.
