Nancy Eldridge, 87, of Middleton, passed away Wednesday evening, January 27, 2021 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Mrs. Eldridge was born on Tuesday, December 5, 1933 in Gibson County, Tennessee. She married Robert Eldridge on September 1, 1951, who passed July 16, 2006. Mrs. Eldridge was a cook at Russell's Cafe and worked at PEP Wire Harness in Ripley, MS as well as being a homemaker. She loved to crochet and study the Bible and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Middleton and formerly at County Line Baptist.
Survivors include her daughter Patrice Blackburn of Middleton, three sons, Donald R. Eldridge also of Middleton, Rick Eldridge and wife Teresa of Brighton, and Phil Eldridge of Jackson; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, John Meredith and Jessie Frances Allen Taylor, and by several brothers and sisters.

* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;

* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
